| Vehicle Listing Description | Car is in very good condition, bone stock with no upgrades. I'm selling the car because I have 5 cars for 2 licensed drivers in my house. Also I needed a bigger car for my growing kids. I bought the car in April '07 as a back-up car. I only put about 7k miles on it. Since I bought the car I've done the following: new Bridgestone Potenza tires all around, new windshield, new front struts, new battery, new valve cover gasket (done by BMW) and acquired radio code. It's a really great, solid car with awesome looks. Just needs a new home.
Engine/Trans: straight 6 (190hp) runs strong. No smoking, dripping or odd sounds. 5-speed auto shifts well.
Body: there is only 1 spot of rust on the whole car. It's about dime-sized and hasn't gotten any worse since I got the car in '07. Some small dings and parking lot scars, as to be expected with a 15-year-old car. Otherwise paint is in good shape. Could use a compound and wax. One chrome plated grille molding is cracked. New replacement comes with car (didn't install).
Interior: very good condition. No rips in front or back seats. One small crack on dash. Glove box in place but will need to be re-hung. Installed child seat anchors in back deck. Headliner good. Alpine stereo works well; loud. Have security code.
PROBLEMS: needs heater core. Heat does work but it leaks antifreeze (outside of car, not inside). Got a quote about $1200 to fix. Also, A/C does not hold charge. Had it charged twice this year but does not blow cold. Did not have it looked into. Last, occasionally I get a "Brake Light Circuit" message on dash. All lights work.
